Voter Resources for mail-in ballots due by April 28th, 2020

Hey there everyone, this is Tim. I went ahead and gathered the website and phone numbers for all local board of elections within the 9th district. Ballots are required to be postmarked by April 28th, 2020. This means you need to have requested your ballot, received it, filled it out and sent it back by the 28th. Based on how long it is taking the post office to get these ballots delivered, I highly recommend sending for your ballot no later than April 12th. Even that may be cutting it too close. If you want to be sure your vote is counted, you should order your ballot soon, like last week soon. I know a lot of folks that don't want to participate because of our government's actions, please do not let Columbus strip you of your vote. This may be a pain in the neck, but we have a civic responsibility to ensure the state politicians don't have control over election results, and giving them control over turn-out through suppression gives them control over the results. Send a message to Columbus that you CAN NOT be silenced.

Below you will find the websites and phone numbers to the board of elections in each of the 5 counties in our district. Contact your local county Board of Elections and request your ballot, then send that ballot back to that same Board of Elections by mail.

Covid-19 Relief delay

Democrats are holding our economy hostage over a bunch of pet projects. This should show all the citizens of Ohio's 9th district just how little Marcy Kaptur cares about you and your family. She would rather you continue to struggle and suffer if it means she can help get the Democrats agenda done. Party loyalty should never come before the needs of the constituency. But for Marcy Kaptur, it seems party loyalty is her paramount concern.

The Wuhan Coronavirus/election postponement

Ohio's Primary election has been postponed. So far it looks like we can expect election day to take place on June 2nd, but things are still uncertain. Folks can still vote at their local board of elections in the meantime. Below is a link to Tim's most recent Facebook post regarding the election.

Comprehensive Candidate Information

Listed below is a comprehensive compilation of information for voters to make an educated decision on March 17th, 2020. Below you will find several links. The first link is the CHIP candidate forum where Tim and 2 other candidates answer questions unscripted (we start at 8mins 50sec in the video). The other 2 video links are to speeches given to the TEA party by Rob Weber and Tim Connors. Then there is a ballotpedia link, that is a comprehensive elections information page where Rob and Tim each have a profile and survey responses. Following that is the ivoterguide info. All of the 9th district republican primary contenders have a profile on ivoterguide and you get a good look at each candidate in comparison there as they all answered the same questions. The links provided will take you to the profiles on those sites for Tim Connors, but getting to the Rob Weber profile is a single click or two away when you're on each site. We would have also loved to provide footage from the UT Democracy Town Hall pseudo-debate from March 5th as well, but have yet to see it or find it. While watching and reading please remember that everything Tim has done on these sites and in these videos is all 100% off the cuff, unrehearsed, organic communication from the heart.  Please, take the time to review the information and choose who you think is the best candidate to go against Marcy Kaptur in November. We know not everyone is going to vote for Tim Connors in this primary, but it is our firm belief that the more people that can get a chance to compare candidates, the more likely Tim will achieve Victory on March 17th, 2020.

Ballotpedia profile

Ballotpedia has Tim's profile up and survey responses recorded. Below is a link to Tim Connors' Ballotpedia profile, you can also access his opponents profiles and survey responses from the same page, which we HIGHLY encourage folks to do. Get a look at your candidates and tell us which one YOU are voting for and WHY. We want to be sure to note that Tim responded to the complete survey and gave detailed honest responses, and we want you to look at his opponents responses and see the difference for yourself. The ivoterguide profiles are also an intriguing contrast between 9th District candidates. A link to that will be provided as well. We want to encourage everyone to check out all of the information that is out on all of the candidates and make your choice for who should face off with Marcy Kaptur on November 3rd, 2020. We believe that choice will be Tim Connors, do you?

Video of CHIP Forum

The footage of the CHIP forum is now up on Youtube. Watch and tell us which candidate you think did the best.  Tim Connors, Rob Weber, and Charles Barrett were all in attendance (in that order when viewing video). Our opinion after the CHIP forum is that the other candidates may be suited to run in Ohio's 4th or 5th districts, but that Tim Connors is the only electable candidate on the Republican ticket for Ohio's 9th district. Remember, the 9th district is majority Democrat, whoever wins this primary needs to be able to earn Democrat votes in November if they are to beat Marcy Kaptur in the general election this November 3rd, 2020. In fact, Independents also outnumber Republicans in the 9th. Republicans are outnumbered by Independents and Democrats by nearly 3:1. We need to nominate a candidate that isn't dead in the water before the election starts. Rob and Charles are established Republican politicians with insider connections. Tim Connors is a young small businessman, a truly independent thinker, and is the fresh blood the Republican party is looking for. He isn't friends with politicians, and has no ties to the swamp-like politics that have gripped many northern Ohio localities. Don't let "good ol' boy" politics cost us another race against Marcy Kaptur. Vote for Tim Connors on March 17th, 2020. Below is a link directly to the video, the 9th District Republican Primary portion begins at about 8 minutes 50 seconds into the video.

CHIP forum

Tim Connors attended the CHIP candidate forum along with two other Republican candidates running for the nomination to challenge Marcy Kaptur in November. Tim is a regular guy, and so this event was a humbling experience for him, first time on a stage. Mike and the whole CHIP team did a fantastic job and asked great questions. LCCC filmed the event and will be showing the footage publicly. We have not seen the video yet but we thought Tim did a great job speaking his mind. CHIP is going to email the youtube link to us when the video is ready, we will post it on this website as well as on our campaign facebook page facebook.com/timconnorsforcongress.

Lucas County Republican Leadership

Tim had a brief meeting with the Lucas County Republican Party leadership yesterday 02/18/2020. Tim gave them some background info and spoke on a few issues he is running on. They asked some good, pointed questions and had some really great best practices tips. Tim appreciated being invited to meet with them, and we thank them for expressing interest and doing their due diligence to evaluate all the candidates. This group is going to back whichever candidate wins the March 17th, 2020 Primary. With your help, and your vote, Tim Connors will be the candidate Ohio's 9th pits against Marcy Kaptur this November 3rd, 2020.

Ottawa County Republican Party

Tim spoke to potential constituents in Ottawa County last night 02/17/2020. There were 3 candidates that spoke to the group. Tim spoke to the group about just how dirty Congress has become, and how we can end the corruption. The clear difference between the candidates was passion. Tim got very specific about some key legislation and stayed after the meeting to continue sharing with voters on various topics that were not covered in the speeches. Overall Tim said it was a great experience, and Jill Stinebaugh was an exceptional host. Tim is counting on the folks in Ottawa county to help carry the nomination on March, 17th 2020. Remember, a vote for Tim Connors on March 17th, 2020 is a vote for victory on November 3rd, 2020.

Speech to the Loarin County TEA party from Feb. 8th, 2020.

We would like to again thank the local TEA party group (Totally Engaged Americans) for Inviting Tim to speak at their event, and a big thanks for filming the speeches. If you would like to hear what Tim had to say to voters on Feb. 8th, 2020 click the link to the video below!

Avon - Avon Lake Republican Club

Tim spoke with the good folks of the Avon - Avon Lake Republican Club last night 02/13/2020. There were 3 candidates in attendance. He gave an impassioned talk on congressional corruption and malfeasance, and described some of the inroads made with local democrats and independents. Several voters stayed to talk with Tim. There were folks that just wanted to tell Tim he had their support, and there were folks deeply concerned with the future of America, and their families in particular. Tim is going to fight back against cultural Leftism. We can not allow our communities to be shattered and destroyed by radical identity politics and crazy communist ideals. Tim posted his own thanks and response from last night on the campaign Facebook page facebook.com/timconnorsforcongress. We believe the more people hear from Tim Connors, the more likely it is that we win this Primary on March 17th, 2020. Tim is the right person to go toe to toe with the democratic machine. We need your help to push us over the finish line and bring real change to Washington. Tell the Republican establishment that we've had ENOUGH of them running weak candidates for decades. Send a loud and clear message to Congress that we will no longer tolerate their behavior, send a message that Ohio's 9th district is not playing games, send them that message by sending Tim Connors to Congress. A vote for Tim Connors on March 17th, 2020 is a vote for victory against Marcy Kaptur on November 3rd, 2020. We can win. We will win.

Speaking to the Lorain County T.E.A. Party.

Tim spoke to the Lorain County TEA (Totally Activated Americans) party group on Saturday Feb. 8th. That was officially his SECOND time public speaking, first time with a microphone. The folks that took the time to talk to Tim after the event shared such kind words and supportive remarks, I know he appreciated that deeply. Tim doesn't write speeches, prepare talking points or rehearse. He is not a politician. Lucky for us, the TEA party FILMED all of the speeches that day and will notify Tim once the video is posted. We will link the video in this website's news feed and post it to the campaign Facebook page Facebook.com/timconnorsforcongress.

The next event Tim will be speaking at is the Republican Club event at the Perkins in Avon on Thursday, Feb 13th at 7pm. I would arrive before 7pm if you wish to meet Tim prior to the event. The public is welcome, and I highly recommend attending as it will be a rare opportunity to see 3 of the 4 candidates speak at the same event. You'll get to hear from Tim Connors and 2 other candidates. Decide for yourselves which candidate can really win in November. Tim is looking forward to this opportunity to speak directly to voters and make a compelling case for why a vote for Tim Connors on March 17th, 2020 is a vote for victory on November 3rd, 2020.

Getting Aggressive

We are ramping up activity and Tim is sharing more and more with local voters. So far we have heard from many many people, and we have gotten an overwhelmingly positive response. People from all over the district have liked what Tim has to say so far, and we are scheduling more public meeting events in the near future. Don't forget, if you have a question for Tim or would like to meet the man running to be your next congressman, feel free to drop us a line, or attend one of our meeting events. In between events Tim is talking to people like you. Every vote counts, and we will sit down with every single voter willing to hear him out.

The Primary is fast approaching and our push to have independents and disaffected democrats vote republican on March 17th is working. We can and will win this Primary, and win the general election November 3rd, 2020.

TEA party (Totally Engaged Americans)

Went to the 01/11/2020 meeting of the Lorain County TEA party to hear Tom Zawistowski give a fantastic keynote talk about activating ourselves to protect America and take the country back from corrupt career politicians. President Trump can't do it alone, he needs our support to continue draining the swamp.
